Group Classes Made for Beginners

Our Piano Launchpad Course, ages 7-10, will begin the week of January 8, 2024 and is designed for students with no previous piano experience. Classes will be 55 minutes long, and will be limited to 4 students/class. Teacher Paige Clawson brings a wealth of experiences as a former Elementary Music Specialist and a preschool music teacher.  

Students in The Piano Launchpad Course will learn the following core music concepts:

  • Navigating the piano keyboard

  • Name and play intervals up to a 6th

  • Read music notes on the Grand Staff

  • Understand note and rest values

  • Perform non-legato playings, as well as 2- and 3-note slurs

  • Sing in solfa using mi, so, and la

  • Play music in time with others in an ensemble format
